Mom With Kids After Run

Hi Moms!. We are coming to Disney the week of March 13th. My wife and I are looking to make some dinner reservations. Some of the resturants do not show a kids menu. Just wondering do they all have kid menus and what is a good Character Dining.

Hi Jeffrey! The restaurants at Walt Disney World are just as kid-friendly as the parks, and you'll find that just about every restaurant has a children's menu or offers food appealing to young diners.  Often, only the adult menus appear on the Disney website. You can find sample kids' menus for the Disney restaurants at the unofficial site, www.allears.net. (You'll find them in the Walt Disney World Dining section; just click the "Menus" link and you'll see a list of menus for all the table-service and quick-service restaurants.)

March can be a busy time at Disney World, so I recommend that you make your dining reservations as soon as possible. For character meals, Chef Mickey's is always a popular choice for breakfast or dinner. Not only do you get some face time with the Big Cheese himself, you also get to dine at a plentiful buffet that includes vegetable lasagna and rice krispie treats at breakfast and a yummy sundae bar at dinner.  At Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom, you can dine with Pooh and friends. I've always thought the food at this buffet is some of the tastiest at Disney World, and every family member I've brought there has agreed.  If you have little princesses in the family, Cinderella's Royal Table is a must-do. Dining inside the Castle is magical, the princesses are very friendly, and the food is surprisingly good. Although a meal here is pricey, it does include a photo package.
