We're coming to Disney Sept. Would like to attend Not so Scary Halloween. I'm a planner, so ADR are done 180 days out/ FP early etc. How do I plan to attend event/be in MK day of event w/o knowing which days the event will occur 180 days out?

    Hi Laura!

It sounds like you're a planner like me - I want my Advance Dining Reservations done 180 days out, and my FastPass+ selections lined up and ready to go 60 days in advance. Planning ahead is part of the excitement for me, and then I can focus on counting down the days until our Disney vacation!

I'm even more excited to hear you're making plans to attend my FAVORITE special event of the year - Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Just thinking about it, and I've got the theme song of Mickey's Boo to You Halloween Parade playing in my head on an endless loop! I just can't get enough of this amazing event. The parade is phenomenal, the Happy Hallowishes Fireworks Show is out-of-this-world, and during the party at Magic Kingdom Park, kids of all ages get to Trick-or-Treat! (And they give out the GOOD candy!) Other favorites during the Halloween Party are the amazing Character Experiences, performances by the Cadaver Dans Barbershop Quartet, and the AWESOME Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular.

I, like you, am waiting anxiously for the dates of this year's Not-So-Scary Party to be released. Last year, the dates were released in late March, so I'm hoping our wait won't be too long! I encourage you to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and follow Walt Disney World Resort on Twitter for the latest news regarding Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Hope this helps with your planning! -Diane W.
