We are coming to Disney on October 29 so we'll be there for Halloween, but MK party is too expensive and we can't afford to go. I had planned on taking my boys to DTD to trick or treat and it has been cancelled. Are there other trick or treating options

    Hi Jaime!

I was so sad to hear that the Trick or Treating at Downtown Disney wasn't going to be held this year! While some entertainment may be found there, there does not appear to be any organized events on the official calendar.

Most Disney resorts do offer a variety of Halloween activities such as pumpkin decorating or Halloween Monster Mash parties. You'll want to check the calendar of events for your resort to see what special events are being held this year.

Another alternate activity is a Haunted Carriage ride at Ft. Wilderness. These fun rides offer a different way to see the resort and campground. You'll have your own private carriage ride with a storyteller! These rides should definitely be booked in advance and sell out quickly! To reserve your place call 407-939-7529.

Hope these ideas give you something fun to do!
