Coming to Disney in October 2011. Our family is 2 adults and two children. My mom and sister are also coming. Is it cheaper to look at booking for 4 adults two kids or doing our family together and then having the two of them do there?

    Hi Sharon,

This is a great question. From a discount perspective, I do not see one if you combine or separate the reservations. You might be able to look at bigger accommodations such as a two bedroom suite at the Boardwalk Inn or other Disney Vacation Club resorts on site. This would allow you to stay together as well as provide a kitchen and extra bath to use.

One advantage of combining the reservations is that you can increase the chances of having adjoining rooms. This is a nice feature when staying with family because it allows you to put the children to bed but you can hang out nearby or they may want to "sleepover" with grandmom.

Either way you go, someone should make the Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs) so you have someplace to eat. With the dining plan being very popular and the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival being in full swing, you will want someplace to replenish your energy.

    Have a magical vacation!
