We will be coming to Disney in Nov/Dec with a 16 year old and 6 year old (both boys). Can you recommend experiences that we would all enjoy?

Hi, Tracy!  I have three daughters, but my oldest is 17, and the other two are eight and three, so I understand the dilemma of taking a family vacation that will appeal to the whole family.

I don't think there is anyplace as friendly for the whole family as the Magic Kingdom.  There are rides and attractions that will appeal to your teenager, things that will appeal to the six year old, and definitely experiences you will all enjoy together.  The older of your boys would probably love things like Splash Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain.  The younger of your sons would probably love the Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger ride - although I have to admit, my teenage daughter gets a huge kick out of competing with her dad and her sisters on that ride!  Attractions like Mickey's PhilHarMagic and Pirates of the Caribbean really are great for everyone.

EPCOT also has quite a few things that will work for the whole family's enjoyment.  My two oldest girls ride Mission:  Space and Test Track together, and we all enjoy the boat ride through the Land.

As for dining experiences, I don't think I've met too many people who haven't enjoyed the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue, and both my 14 year old nephew and my eight year old nephew look forward to the show every trip.  And check out Disney Quest if you have time!

    Have  a wonderful trip!
