    June from PA Asked

We are coming to Disney next week and our 13 year granddaughter needs to FaceTime daily her algebra teacher are there quiet places in each park for a hour of quiet time ?

Hello, June! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Yay! Your visit to the Disneyland Resort is just days away!

I must commend your family's commitment to academics even while on vacation! Here are few places that came to mind that should provide a quiet enough atmosphere for your granddaughter to have a chat with her teacher:

    Disneyland Park

    - The area near the Baby Care Center located at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. is tucked away and generally very quiet.
-Another place that might work is the seating area located behind Edelweiss Snacks. In my experience, this area is rarely crowded and it extends away from the hustle and bustle of the park a bit.
-A wonderfully beautiful area is the trail that connects Frontierland and Fantasyland behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. There are even dead ends that will eventually lead to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge which are mostly deserted right now.

    Disney California Adventure Park
-The courtyard area by Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sully to the Rescue was really quiet when I was there last week.
-The World of Color viewing area along Paradise Pier is really pleasant and tranquil during the day.
-There is also an alternative path that takes you behind the Grizzly River Run attraction. You might hear a scream or two coming from riders braving the rapids, but it shouldn't be too loud as many people don't venture back that way.

Use the Disneyland app's map view to help guide you to these places while you are there. Have a wonderful visit to the Disneyland Resort!
