Hi Jessica,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be so delighted to meet your little ones!
One of my favorite resources is the
Planning for Preschool & Little Ones Guide. If you are only planning to visit one park, I suggest that you visit Magic Kingdom. There are a number of attractions for little ones and, of course, they must see Cinderella Castle! Review the
Attractions List for Magic Kingdom to see the height requirements for rides. Peter Pan's Flight, Mad Tea Party, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo the Flying Elephant and "it's a small world" are all attractions your children might enjoy.
I also suggest that you do at least one character meal. We always do breakfast at The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom. Winnie the Pooh and friends greet guests at this celebration of Friendship Day. Just outside of the park at Disney's Contemporary Resort, you could also dine at Chef Mickey's to see Mickey Mouse and friends. On our last visit, Minnie Mouse stole the show! To get to Chef Mickey's, you can take the walking path from Magic Kingdom to Disney's Contemporary Resort or take the Resort Monorail. Be sure to make advanced dining reservations!
Jessica, given the ages of your children, they may still need an afternoon nap or rest time. Feel free to use the Baby Care Center to take a break during the day or, if staying on property, go back to your resort hotel and take a nap. The
Happily Ever After fireworks are stunning. If you can return to the park to see them, I definitely recommend it. Grab your spot at least an hour before the show!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
