hello, I am coming to Disney mid December. First time going to DW in the winter, I will be bringing my 4 yo with me not sure what clothing to pack? don't want to pack to much but afraid of what the weather could be like. Thank You

    Hi Janet,

Early to mid-December is a great time to visit Walt Disney World. The parks and resorts are decked out for Christmas, but the holiday crowds have not yet arrived.

The weather, of course, can vary, but generally December is quite mild with highs in the lower 70s and lows in the low 50s. I would think that you would be comfortable with jeans and t-shirts during the day with a jacket or sweatshirt at night.

Some of it depends on your tolerance for cool. You are from the Northeast, so you may find that temperature range even milder than those of us who live in Central Florida year-round. Just this week, the high temperature fell below 80 for the first time this fall here and everyone I know pulled out their boots and sweaters!

I hope those guidelines are useful. Your trip will be here before you know it. Please let us know if we can do anything else to help. Enjoy!
