Hi! We are coming to Disney the first week of April. I have been here SEVERAL times and have always stayed at a moderate resort. We are staying at a value resort this time and I am worried it will not be the same. What is the major difference?

I had the same concern the first time we stayed at a value resort.  Here are the biggest differences I noted:

    -no coffee maker in room
    -no fridge in room
-smaller room (about 50-80 sq. ft smaller than the moderates)
-food court only, no table-service restaurants
    -no waterslide at pools
-one bus stop (rather than multiples around the resort)

It's not the same as a moderate, but you're still at Disney which is obviously a great thing.  I think the value resorts are still very nice, and if you plan on hitting the parks heavily then you probably won't be in your room enough to care about the differences anyway.
