We are coming to disney with our family my sister is handicapped .does disney offer any assistance to help get around the parks and attractions? Thanks

Hi Rob! Disney does not offer a service that would be able to take your sister around the parks but they will have wheelchairs and ECV's for rent at each park. You can rent daily or get a package for the duration of your trip.  If she will have difficulty traveling between the resort and the parks then I suggest you consider getting a wheelchair rented from an outside company who can deliver and pickup at your resort. Buses and monorails can handle a wheelchair and most boats but the smaller ones will not and those are the ones you might find at the resorts along Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon.

When reserving a resort room be sure and mention your sisters needs so they can reserve a handicap room for her.

My suggestion if you choose to use an outside vendor would be Buena Vista Scooters, 1-866-484-4797.

Please also be aware of the new DASC cards available for those guests who might need assistance in the parks with different attractions. These are Disability Access Service Cards. New queue areas for many attractions will now accommodate wheelchairs but if there is an issue you can check about the use of this card to get a return time back to enjoy the ride. If you have any questions there will be plenty of cast members who can help you with them once you arrive at the parks.
