We are coming to Disney over Easter weekend. We are eating the majority of our meals in Epcot and will be travelling from different theme parks to get there. How much time should we leave to ensure we get there on time, our reservations are at 6 usually?

    Hi Laura!

You're really singin' my song! Out of all the theme parks, Epcot has the most restaurants that appear on my "must-do" list for each vacation.

That being said, let me take a crack at your question on a park-by-park basis:

From Disney's Hollywood Studios, I would take one of the Friendship Boats that dock near the main entrance because they'll drop you off on the World Showcase side of Epcot (where most of the restaurants are located).  An hour should be a reasonable amount of time to budget for this trip (depending on the crowds, of course).

From the Magic Kingdom, you can ride the Monorail's express loop to the Transportation and Ticket Center. From that platform, you'll take a few steps over to the Epcot Monorail platform and it'll be about a 15-minute ride once you board. The Monorail station at Epcot is at the front gate, so you'll also have to plan to walk through Future World if your reservations are in World Showcase. An hour might be enough time, but I'd play it on the safe side and plan for an hour-and-a-half. If you make it over there in record time, you can meander through the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival exhibits!

From Disney's Animal Kingdom, your best option would be to take a bus to Epcot (which will drop you off near the front gate of Epcot). Similar to my advice for the Magic Kingdom, I'd play it safe and plan for an hour-and-a-half in case the buses are running a little behind.

I could probably craft a few other slick ways to get you to Epcot via the resort hotels, but the ways I mentioned above are, in my opinion, the easiest ways to go.

I hope that helps! If there are any other questions you have as you get ready to leave for your vacation, please feel free to let me know and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can!

    Best regards,
    Derek
