We are coming to Disney in Dec of 2013 and want to stay in the Wilderness Lodge, I heard there are a few rooms that you can see the fireworks at Magic Kingdom. Which rooms are these? Thank You.

    Hi Darla!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

I love staying at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, in fact it is my favourite resort and I have stayed there many times, and I am sure you will have a lovely time there.  I have heard that a few rooms with a 'Woods View' facing the direction of the Magic Kingdom could give you a glimpse of the fireworks through the trees but this is not something that is guaranteed.

Unlike the other Magic Kingdom resorts which are situated around Seven Seas Lagoon (Disney's Grand Floridian, Disney's Polynesian Resort and Disney's Contemporary Resort) which all have good views of the fireworks, Disney's Wilderness Lodge is on Bay Lake which is slightly further away from the Magic Kingdom, so unfortunately it is unlikely you could even see the fireworks from the beach here.

If you have any other questions about Wilderness Lodge, or any other planning questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
