Hi we will be coming to Disney August 17-August 23, and haven't been for 5 years. We have park hopper plus tickets. I wanted your recommendations for which parks on which day. We have a 7 yr old daughter and 12,year old son. Any suggestions would help .

    Hi, Melissa!

You are going to see a lot of changes since you visited Mickey 5 years ago.  The biggest thing will be the addition of MagicBands and FastPass+.  Make sure to read about this fun new technology under My Disney Experience at www.DisneyWorld.com.

But back to your itinerary!  Based on some un-scientific online crowd calendars, here would be my plan:

Aug 17:  Arrival day. Settle in, evening at Magic Kingdom
    Aug 18:  Hollywood Studios
    Aug19:  Magic Kingdom
    Aug 20:  Epcot
    Aug 21:  Animal Kingdom
Aug 22:  Revisit your park of choice!
Aug 23: Time to head home.  Use your last morning for some fun shopping at Downtown Disney.

Also remember that it is super hot in August, so schedule in your mid-day pool breaks.  Once you hit your 180 day mark from your arrival, begin scheduling in your dining selections.  Around 60 days out you can book your FastPass+ times.  By getting all your planning done ahead of time, you can just sit back and relax during your magical August vacation!   Have fun as you count down to your summer trip to Walt Disney World!
