We are coming Dec 22-29 as a group of 8. 6 kids ages 14-24. Any suggestions on the best way to maximize time at each park as a large group and any suggestions for the 'don't miss' things that young adults would enjoy?

    Hi Melanie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Family trips to the Walt Disney World Resort are my favorite. The memories are priceless!

First, you want to be sure that you make Fast Pass+ selections so that you spend less time waiting in line. Once you have created a My Disney Experience Account and linked your theme park tickets to that account, you can make your Fast Pass+ selections. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can make Fast Pass+ selections 60 days prior to your trip. If you are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel but have valid theme park tickets, you can make your Fast Pass+ selections 30 days in advance.

Second, with a group of eight, you will want to make dining reservations. Especially at that time of year, it will be difficult to just walk into a restaurant and be seated in a reasonable amount of time. There are lots of fantastic dining options, so be sure to go through the list and select restaurants that your family might enjoy. Be Our Guest restaurant in Magic Kingdom is one of our favorite places to eat dinner. Also consider the geographic location of your Fast Pass+ selections and dining reservations. Try to avoid trekking across the park and back to get from a Fast Pass+ selection to a dining reservation.

Melanie, before making your Fast Pass+ selections, check out the Attractions List. Then you can decide which rides you want to prioritize for Fast Pass+. I would definitely do Avatar Flight of Passage at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Toy Story Mania! and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Test Track and Soarin' at Epcot, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom.

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
