We are coming Dec 10-15. We have been to Disney 100's of times (grewup 5 miles away) so there is nothing we have not seen. We booked this week because that in the past Pop Warner was always the 1st week, but now it's our week. How are the crowds

    Hi Juditha,

As an avid fan of Walt Disney World Resort, I bet you're ecstatic that you'll be returning in less than two short months! It will feel like a true homecoming for you, and there will be so many familiar magical experiences to enjoy. Hopefully you'll be able to discover a few new favorites, too, with Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opening just a few days before your arrival, plus the all-new Disney Skyliner, Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and Epcot Forever fireworks show!

While you're correct that the Pop Warner Super Bowl and National Cheer & Dance Championships are going on from December 6 - 13th, I still think that your trip is planned for a great week. If you're staying at one of the Value Resort hotels, you'll likely see large groups of kids, and regardless of where you're staying, you may see lots of football players, cheerleaders, and dancers around the theme parks, but at Walt Disney World Resort, there are always lots of kiddos! If you're wanting to experience "The Most Magical Place on Earth" during the holiday season, you'll still find fewer crowds that week than you will closer to Christmas. I'm a firm believer that it's much more beneficial to go with a good plan in place and a flexible attitude than it is to find the least crowded week of the year. I'd plan on arriving early to the theme parks, maximizing the FastPass+ service, and being open to using the adorable Minnie Van Service if there's a large group waiting for the bus you need, and I'm confident that you'll have an amazing trip!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Juditha, and please let us know if we can answer any other questions as you're thinking through the details of your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
