Coming 5/28-6/4/. Booked at CBR but have read lots of reviews and am now a little concerned about the size since we are traveling w/ two kids, 5 & 2. We stayed at All Star Music before, I wanted a different feel. Any advice? Should we consider POR

    Feel confident in your choice.

All of the Moderate resorts are large. Yet, they actually have fewer rooms than the All-Star resorts. You'd experience the same "vastness" and multiple bus stops at Caribbean Beach Resort as you would Port Orleans: Riverside.

I don't always recommend CBR, but since you're traveling in the summer and can get the most out of the Spanish fort-themed pool and water cannons, not to mention bridges, I say keep your reservation. Your children are also the right age to enjoy a Pirate Room with "plank" carpet flooring and "boats" for beds. These rooms are a little more but worth the difference for the theme not to mention the fact that they are close to the pool and main building with restaurants.

Port Orleans is a fine resort--and I recommend it for families with children who are slightly older than yours who may enjoy the ferry ride to Downtown Disney, but for the time of year you're traveling, CBR makes perfect sense.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
