    Wendy from MA Asked

We are coming back to WDW with our 18 month old little girl. Her FIRST trip. I am trying to book dinner reservations. Is there a particular place where it is denoted which restuarants are not toddler appropriate? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi Wendy! The first thing you need to realize is that this is Walt Disney World and one of the great places in the world that welcomes children throughout the property. Toddlers will be welcome at all with the exception of Victoria and Alberts which does have an age limit. All restaurants will have high chairs and booster seats and a children's menu. Having traveled over the years with my own children when they were very small and currently traveling with grandchildren I do have some suggestions to places that aren't as comfortable as others when bringing toddler age children. I try to avoid the California Grill and Bistro de Paris. The Yachtsman Steakhouse and Citricos would be next but we have certainly taken the children and had a lovely meal. They tend to be a bit slower in service as it is fine dining but again they are prepared for kids of all ages. The dinner shows are long but at the same time they also hold children's attention. These would include Hoop Dee Doo and the Luau. You are the best judge of your child and if you think table service will take too long head to those restaurants that offer a buffet such as the Biergarten in Germany, the Crystal Palace, Tusker House, Chef Mickey, Cape May, and Trails End. Hope this helps with your decision but remember it is Disney and children are welcome throughout!
