coming back in November 2019, will we need reservations to get into star wars. Want to let you know, I am 66 years old. My best friend of 30 years+ have been coming for years and years ( around 55 times) with and without family.

    Hi Marirose,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question. I’m absolutely thrilled to meet you and I sincerely hope that I can say the same about my visits to Walt Disney World Resort in a few years! Visiting the Disney Parks is always an amazing treat, but there’s just something about visits with a “bestie” that just fill my soul to the brim with oh so much Disney Magic.

From what I understand, there currently aren’t any plans to create a reservation-based system to enter Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, unlike the system that was operating for its first few months at Disneyland Park. In fact, Disney’s FastPass+ service won’t be offered for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at first, either.

If you and your friend are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel in November and  the special “Extra” Extra Magic Hours are available during your stay, I highly recommend that you head to Batuu during those hours in order to minimize any potential wait time that you might experience (especially later in the day). If you aren’t eligible to take advantage of these extended hours, then showing up at least an hour before Disney’s Hollywood Studios opens for the day would be your best bet to minimize wait times and ensure you’re at the front of the line when the Park does open its gates.

I hope my answer helps you plan a truly wonderful vacation this November at Walt Disney World Resort. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
