We will be coming in August 2016 for a wedding. Staying at PO Riverside. We have several in our group with limited mobility. Are there restaurants near POR that may involve little waling?

    Hi Cheryl!

How exciting to visit Walt Disney World for a wedding! I bet you can't wait! Port Orleans Riverside is a gorgeous resort in the Disney Springs area. If there are those with limited mobility, I highly suggest renting a ECV for the week. When I visited Walt Disney World with my mom we rented an ECV and it was a lifesaver. You can rent them daily at each theme park and at Disney Springs. There are also many private companies that Disney recommends to rent ECVs and scooters. A complete listing is available on the ECV link I shared. Best Price Scooters & Strollers is one of the recommendations.

Port Orleans Riverside has several dining options, including Boatwright's Dining Hall. You can make an Advanced Dining Reservation 180 days in advance by calling 407-WDW-DINE or by booking on My Disney Experience. This will help ensure your wait time is limited.

Port Orleans is also near Disney Springs, so consider making an Advanced Dining Reservation at one of the many wonderful restaurants in that area. Fulton's Crab House is one of my favorite.

I hope you have a magical vacation!
