Hi there...we are coming April 1 and wondering if you can make reservations for the lion king show in Animal kingdom? Also, is there a schedule of events/parades other than the calendar? thanks!

Hi Suzanne, I could not resist answering my fellow Ontarian!

You are smart to start your planning now so you get to see everything you want to see.  For the Festival of the Lion King, however, you do not need reservations, and it is included in the price of your admission.  This show is put on at scheduled times during the day - check the 'Times Guide' when you enter the park.  I would recommend arriving about 30 minutes in advance.  It is a huge theater but it also draws large crowds - especially as it offers great relief from the heat in the middle of the day.

The event calendars found on-line for each of the theme parks is your best source of information.  Keep checking them regularly as it is the most up to date source information available.  Have a truly magical holiday!

Walt Disney World stole my heart when my parents introduced me to the magic the year it opened. I fondly remember my first 'Mickey Mouse in a Glass House' balloon! I still visit with my parents-and now with my husband and our two teens. Learn More About Lynn
