Mom And Daughter Resort Room

Hello, we are coming in April for a week and I am stuck deciding where to eat on our last day. We are using this day as a flex day to finish up any missed opportunities at the parks. It will be me, my wife, my son (5) and daughter (3). Any ideas?

    Hi Cody,

Your vacation will be here before you know it! I think keeping that last day open is a great idea. You'll be able to spend more time in whatever park you find is best for your family. That can make planning dining options a little tricky, however, especially if you want to eat at a table service restaurant.

If you are planning on a sit down meal, this would be my strategy. I would choose restaurants in two different parks that I think I might find myself in on the last day. I would make a lunch reservation at one and a dinner reservation at the other. Once your vacation starts, you'll be able to have a better idea of where you'll be. You can cancel whichever reservation you choose not to use, or you can cancel both if you find yourself somewhere entirely different on the last day.

I would also make note of some favorite counter service dining locations in each park. This way you won't get stuck, hungry with no idea where to dine.

Magic Kingdom: Pecos Bill's, Be Our Guest (for lunch)
    Epcot: Sunshine Seasons
    Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree Barbecue
Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary or Backlot Express
    Downtown Disney: Earl of Sandwich

If you want some ideas for table service restaurant, we're happy to answer as many follow up questions as you need to help you create the perfect vacation.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
