How comfortable are you letting your kids participate in Oceaneer Club etc.. on the Disney Cruises? Is it possible to have our kids together even if one of them misses the age cut-off by 1 year? I really don't feel comfortable splitting them up.

    Hello Jennifer,

Let me just say that I am an overly paranoid mom when it comes to the care of my children.  They have never had a sleepover at someone's home, not even my sister's (and I adore my sister).  I can't believe I'm admitting to that, but I want to convey how deeply sensitive this issue is with me.  My kids are 14 and 11, by the way!

I am supremely confident that my kids are receiving the best care while in their respective youth clubs.  I've watched closely, asked questions, and best of all seen how much fun my kids were having.  I would never advise anyone to leave their kids anywhere if I wasn't willing to do the same.  I hope you can trust me on that.

Here's what you can do.   If your younger child is missing the cut off by less than a year please explain your concerns to the youth counselors at the club and tell them you really don't want them to be split up.  Most times, if they are able, they will allow it.  Remember though, that your oldest can always go to the younger club easier than than vice versa.

I hope this helps Jennifer.  Please let me know if you have any other questions regarding this or anything else for Disney Cruise Line.  I'm always happy to help.  Bon voyage!
