    Susan from TN Asked

Do they have coffeemakers and are the rooms refurbished in the 70's building of the Pop Century? Thanks!

    Hi Susan,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Last month, my family stayed in one of the recently reimagined rooms at Disney's Pop Century Resort. At that time, the rooms in the 80s and 90s sections of the resort were completely renovated. However, they were still working on refurbishing rooms in the 70s area.

We stayed in the 80s building with the larger-than-life Roger Rabbit icon. I can attest that those rooms do indeed have coffee makers. You will find the pod type Cuisinart® brand coffee makers in the newly refurbished rooms at Disney's Pop Century Resort. These wonderful rooms have a hutch with an ice bucket, a coffee maker, cups and a mini-fridge with a see-thru door. The drawer contains Joffrey's Coffee & Tea Co. brand pods of regular coffee, decaf coffee and other supplies too.

I suggest contacting Disney to request one of newly reimagined rooms for your stay. However, keep in mind room requests are never guaranteed.

Did you know? There are several benefits of staying at Disney Resort hotels. One of my family's favorite is the ability to access the Disney theme parks during Extra Magic Hours. This is when one of the parks opens one hour earlier and closes up to two hours later than the listed park-operating hours. Furthermore, guests staying at Disney Resort hotels can make FastPass+ selections up to 60 days before check-in! Be sure to download My Disney Experience mobile app on your smartphone too.

I hope this was helpful information, Susan. If you have any other vacation planning questions, please come back to visit us again soon. We'll be glad to help you discover the true Power of Magic!
