I see there is a coffee maker in the cabin at Fort Wilderness. I am wonder what kind so I know whether to purchase Pods i.e: Kuring or a bag of ground coffee with filters. Thank you!

    Greetings Cheryl!

It sounds like you have a fantastic vacation coming up! The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort are the perfect combination of rustic elegance and magical convenience. They sit amongst 750 acres of forest, with a living room, full bedroom and bathroom, patio (complete with grill!), and kitchen in each of the hideaways.

One of the best amenities is the 12 cup drip-style coffee maker that comes with a complimentary bag of Joffrey’s Coffee. Mousekeeping happily replenishes the coffee as well as cream and sugar daily. If you prefer something other than Joffrey’s, bring your favorite grounds and filters with you! But, if you don’t want to carry groceries, consider having them delivered and include your favorite brand and filters with your order. There are several options for grocery delivery to your Resort including Garden Grocer, Amazon Prime Now and Instacart.

Once you’ve had your morning brew, explore your fantastic Resort! You can rent a boat for a sail along the Sassagoula River, or ride a pony at Tri-Circle-D-Ranch. If you’ve ever wanted to channel Robin Hood, take aim at a bulls-eye with the help of Archery Guides, and for a picture-perfect end to your day, indulge in a horse-drawn carriage ride through the lush grounds. Once you are done exploring, jump on a boat and set sail for Magic Kingdom Park. The boat will have you there in about 15 minutes and is my favorite amenity at the Resort.

Cheryl, if you have any other questions, give us a holler! In the meantime, have a fabulous vacation.
