I have a client who has a teenager on the autism spectrum. How will getting into and going on attractions in Star Wars Galaxy’s edge be handled with the disability pass? I read that’s disneyland is very accommodating. Is this the same with World? Thank you

Hi, Lindsey!  Or as they say on the planet Batuu, "Bright suns!"

The Force is strong with my family, so we are beyond excited about the upcoming opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  My own son has autism, and we utilize Disability Access Service when we visit the Walt Disney World Resort.  Therefore, I made sure to look into the topic of how Disability Services will operate within this highly anticipated new land.

Although the FastPass+ service will not be available for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge attractions when the land first opens, we have been told that Disability Access Service will function in the same way as it does in all other areas of the theme parks.  If a guest is using Disability Access Service, they can see a Cast Member at the attraction entrance to obtain a return time.  This ride return time will be based on the current standby wait time for that attraction.

Don't forget that all guests are able to make advanced reservations for several Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge experiences.  Reservations for Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers, Droid Depot, and Oga's Cantina can be made 180 days in advance.

May the Force be with you!
