Is my city select double stroller too big for the new stroller requirements?

Hi there, Sarah, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad you’re checking out the recently-updated stroller rules before heading to the parks later this month. I’d hate for you to find out your stroller doesn’t fit within the guidelines after you’ve already arrived!

I’m also a double-stroller mama, so I understand your concern. The Disneyland Resort Rules state that strollers can’t exceed 31” (79 cm) in width by 52” (132 cm) in length. I’m happy to report that most single and double strollers still fit within these new guidelines. In fact, my Britax B-Agile Double Stroller fits perfectly within these guidelines. I looked up the City Select Stroller online, and it appears that there are many different stroller configurations as both a single and double stroller. So, I can’t say if your stroller is guaranteed to fit within the Resort’s stroller rules, but, I have a good feeling it will. I recommend measuring the width and length from the longest and widest points of your stroller to check the sizing before your vacation.

If, for whatever reason, your stroller doesn’t fit within these guidelines, you can always rent a double tandem stroller from Stroller Rentals, located to the right of the Main Entrance of Disneyland Park, adjacent to the Kennel. Strollers are available for rent on a daily basis, so I recommend arriving early to get one each day of your trip. You can also rent a stroller from ScooterBug, a private rental company in the area, which also offers length-of-stay rentals. So, ScooterBug’s strollers could stay with you throughout your stay. You can reach ScooterBug at (800) 726-8284.

Whenever your little Mouseketeers need a break, I recommend heading to one of the Baby Care Centers – there’s one in each park. These Centers are the ideal spot to take a break, feed, nurse, or change your little one in a comfortable setting. You’ll even find convenient vending machines selling popular baby items if you forgot anything.

Here’s the Entertainment Schedule for your arrival date so you can start mapping out your merry plans

Wishing you a joyous, magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
