    Kristin from VA Asked

Chris, thanks for writing me back. BUT would your answer be the same if you knew the Polynesian was under construction right now? What exactly does club level OFFER YOU? Can you list me TWO pros and TWO cons for BOTH resorts?

    Hi again, Kristin!
    My pleasure! Truly!!
Construction WOULD probably change my response. I forgot the DVC construction was going on. Club Level offers you and your family certain amenities throughout the day at different times...morning offers a full continental breakfast daily, plus unlimited snacks and soda later in the day and then hot appetizers early evening and desserts/cordials/wine/beer at night. Plus you have direct access to concierge services if you need to make dining changes/arrangements or FastPass+ modifications. Plus there's a great view of Magic Kingdom anytime that you are in there relaxing.
As for the pros and cons:

    Polynesian: Pro
...better pool and better food choices. Amazing theming. Right on the monorail, as well as boat service to Magic Kingdom. Con...A bit older and dated feeling and the construction.
Contemporary: Pro...a short walk from Magic Kingdom at night to avoid waits for boat or monorail. GREAT view if you get up high. Only one building. Nicer rooms. Con...pool is average and theming is limited.

For your upcoming trip, I think you need to investigate how close the actual construction is to Club Level (I think it's further down the beach) and how intrusive that may be, PLUS, if you feel the amenities are worth the extra $ to stay at Club Level versus paying for the upgraded view at Contemporary. Either way, I think you have good choices and will have an amazing trip!!
Please let me know if I can help further!! :)
