We chose the later seating for dinner. Just curious if we will be missing anything by having the later seating?

    Hi Tiffany!

Thanks for bringing this excellent question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you're getting ready to embark on a voyage to paradise with Captain Mickey! Yay! I'm so excited for you! Your question is about one of my favorite things to do onboard: eat! We enjoy Disney Cruise Line's Rotational Dining so much! We become attached to our Server and Assistant Server and always find it difficult to say goodbye.

I think you'll love having chosen the later seating! Don't worry, you won't miss any of the exciting activities on or around the ship while you're eating! Disney Cruise Line presents each evening's Broadway-style show (or entertainment) in the Walt Disney Theatre twice! Since you will be in the Second Seating, you'll get to see the show before dinner. If you happen to be on an itinerary that has a Pirate Night during your voyage, your serving team will do an excellent job getting you out of the restaurant on time to enjoy all the late-night festivities on deck. Having the Second Seating will also give you more time in your stateroom to get ready for dinner after a full day enjoying each port of call or exciting day at sea!

I hope you enjoy all the delicious food offered each night. Don't forget, if you're having trouble deciding between two appetizers, entrees or desserts, you can choose both! Disney Cruises are a great chance to try something you wouldn't typically order at a restaurant close to home!
