What would you choose? Tusker House 8:10 then start Animal Kingdom, or get to Animal Kingdom at opening, go on the safari then do breakfast at 10:15? Thanks!

Hi Chris! I'm generally not a morning person, but when I'm at Disney World I've found that getting an early start at the parks is a great way to ride lots of attractions with minimal waiting. I'm assuming Animal Kingdom is opening at 9 a.m. on the day you're planning to visit, and if that's the case, I'd recommend that you eat breakfast at Tusker House at 8:10 a.m., and then start touring the park after breakfast. You should be finishing up your meal just as the park opens, and when you leave Tusker House you're in the perfect spot to get in line for the Kilimanjaro Safaris. When you finish your safari, you can head to Expedition Everest and ride it before the line gets too long.  Once you've experienced those two popular attractions, you'll have the rest of the day to explore the remainder of the park at your leisure, and you'll have lots of energy from your big breakfast! If you took a mid-morning breakfast break, you'd miss out on some crucial park touring time and when you finished breakfast, you'd face longer lines at the popular attractions since many guests arrive at the park later in the morning.

Now, if Animal Kingdom opens at 8 a.m. on the day you're planning to visit, I'd recommend that you take the 10:15 a.m. reservation. Arrive at the park at opening, and you'll have two uncrowded hours to ride the Safari and Everest before breakfast, and then you can enjoy the other, less crowded attractions after you eat.

Hope you have a magical vacation! Please don't hesitate to visit us again at the Moms Panel if we can help you plan your trip!
