If you have to choose btwn Sci-Fi & Beaches & Cream....what would you do??? It will be me, dh, and gma with 6 kids - ages 11 and under.

    Hi there Christine!

Wow!  That's a tough question, but I'm up for a challenge! Hey, you are taking six kids out to eat, so clearly you are too!

Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club Resort and Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater are both fantastic choices for a bunch of kids!  Both are generally on our "must do" list during our family trips to Disney.  Beaches & Cream is an old-fashioned soda shop that serves burgers, sandwiches and, of course, ice cream.  If you go, I highly recommend "The Kitchen Sink," which includes a scoop of every flavor ice cream in the shop, tons of toppings and an entire can of whipped-cream!  It might be messy, but I'm guessing it will be a highlight of the kids' meal!

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater is a unique restaurant set up like an old-fashioned drive-in.  Guests sit inside "convertibles" and watch old sci-fi clips while dining in sandwiches, burgers, salads and great milk shakes.  My boys usually find the clips so funny that I usually have to remind them to eat at least a few times during each meal here!

If I absolutely had to pick, I would vote for Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater with your large group.  I'm guessing the novelty of sitting in a convertible and watching movies will keep your clan well entertained, and allow you to enjoy a nice meal.

Whichever you chose, have a great time!
