    How does child/ride swap work?

Hi Martha! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You are SO close to your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Yay! If you are like me, you have been counting down the days until your vacation begins. Only FOUR more days!

Rider Switch is an amazing time-saving tool for families like mine that have little ones that aren't able to ride all of the attractions yet because of height requirements. You simply approach the entrance to the attraction and let the Cast Member know you would like to use Rider Switch. Make sure your entire party is present, because the Cast Member will want to see that you do have a child that can't ride. The first party will ride the attraction, while the second party will receive a Rider Switch pass, then they will wait with the little ones. After the first party rides and comes to wait with the kiddos, the second party will enter the FastPass+ line where the Rider Switch pass acts as a FastPass+. This way, the family doesn't have to wait in the long lines again! It is super easy!

I hope this helps as you plan your time in the theme parks, Martha! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
