The children's menu at Via Napoli... will they be able to offer choices besides acidic options, i.e. marinara? DD6 isn't a calzone fan and cannot have marinara. Curious if they'd be able to make mac n cheese or other!

    Hi Sherri,

My family and I have dined at Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in the Italy pavilion at Epcot.  It's a wonderful and fun restaurant.  I bet your daughter will really enjoy seeing the three big wood fire ovens - they are shaped like faces!

I have always found that restaurants at Walt Disney World are very accommodating when you have a special request.  They will do everything they can to make your dining experience enjoyable.  Although I cannot guarantee that they will be able to make macaroni and cheese, they'll work with you to find something that your daughter can enjoy.  Simply ask your server when they come to your table and explain your situation.  They may even have a chef come out to talk with you to come up with a solution.  I see that they have spaghetti on the children's menu at Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria.  My young daughter is also not a fan of marinara sauce, so we'll often ask for the spaghetti buttered with the marinara sauce on the side in case she wants to try some.  I also must recommend the Zeppole de Ricotta for dessert - they're delicious fritters that come with chocolate sauce for dipping.  Once those came to the table my young daughter ate them quickly - I think I may have gotten to eat one!

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Sherri.  Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
