When our children were young, we visited WDW many times. Now my husband is disabled & uses a scooter. What would be the best hotel on site to accomodate him. Are the Disney buses equipped for scooters (motorized wheelchairs?) What about the attractio

I would recommend the Yacht and Beach Club.  There is a boat/walkway to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios. This means your husband could take a boat to either of these locations, and keep from having to drive his EVC onto a loaded bus.  The Yacht and Beach Club have buses to Magic Kingdom, however if you take the boat or walkway to Epcot, he could load the Monorail directly.  So, the only bus that he would require would be to go to the Water Parks, Animal Kingdom, or Downtown Disney.  There are Handicap accessible rooms, that have a King sized bed, have the coffee makers, and small refrigerators.  Our favorite steakhouse on property is located at The Yacht and Beach Club and its called, Yachtsman Steakhouse. **The Walt Disney World Transit system is equipped to handle EVC's and Wheel chairs, there are either ramps, or lifts on the buses, so no worries, if you should select to stay at another resort such as Port Orleans Riverside, he will still be able to get to all of the Parks on the bus. Have an amazing vacation!!
