With children under 3 I understand that they can eat at most buffets for free but how does counter service work? I had a friend go this past February and she claims she was able to order kids means at quick service restaurants for no cost. Is this true?

Hello Jessica, thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

At quick service dining locations, I would count on purchasing your child under 3 something to eat.  It's been my experience that the under 3 eat free rule only applies to table service restaurants.  Magical things happen at Walt Disney World all of the time so maybe she got lucky and received a kids meal for free during her vacation but this is not usually standard.

I hope this helps clear up the confusion.  If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.
