    Julita from BC Asked

Hello. We have 2 children with severe food allergies, each child has different allergies, so we never dine out. We'll need a suite with a kitchenette. We won't a car. Is there anywhere within the resort to purchase groceries?

    Hi, Julita!

A vacation to the Disneyland Resort is simply magical, and I’m excited to help you and your family find ways to accommodate your needs! When searching for the ideal hotel for your family, you’ll find that the only Disneyland Resort hotel rooms that include Kitchenettes are the Signature Suites offered at Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. They’re breathtakingly beautiful, but don’t always fit in everyone’s budget, so you may want to call for availability and pricing at (714) 956-6425. Your other option would be booking a Good Neighbor Hotel, which is a Disney-approved quality hotel close to the Disneyland Resort. When I filtered my search by selecting “Kitchenette”, six results showed up, including Homewood Suites by Hilton Anaheim Resort Convention Center, which is across the street from the Disneyland Resort.

There are several options within the Resort for purchasing basic groceries. At White Water Snacks at the Grand Californian, you can find milk, eggs, bread, fresh fruit, lunch meat, condiments, and more. However, for the best variety, I suggest ordering groceries through Instacart or AmazonFresh to be delivered to your room.

In addition, I recommend asking to speak with a chef at any of the dining spots within the Disneyland Resort – they will do their very best to accommodate your children's needs if they can!

I hope this helps. I can't wait for your Disney dreams to come true!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for about 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 7, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
