    Janet from VA Asked

Do children under 3 require a magic band to show they get in free and for rides?

    Hi Janet,

I remember taking my kids to Disney World when they were under three!  It was such a magical and memory making trip...there is nothing like seeing Disney through a child's eyes.  I'm really happy for you.

Children under the age of three don't need MagicBands to enter the theme parks, and they also don't need FastPasses. As long as you have a FastPass to an attraction, your child will be allowed to ride with you.  Please keep in mind that many attractions have restrictions in place for the safety of younger guests.  In that case, you can always use the Rider Switch option that Disney has in place for those times.

I hope this information helps, Janet.  Wishing you a pixie dusted trip with tons of magical memories!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
