Our children will be participating in the Disney Youth programs next summer and we ALL will be getting a 5 day park hopper. Since our tickets will be purchased through Disney youth, would we still be eligible for Disney dining if we stay at a Disney resort

    Hi Amy!

Although Walt Disney World resort accommodations can be reserved through Disney Youth Group Programs, the Disney Dining Plan itself cannot be included in that particular type of booking.

There are however several options available to you, to ensure that you either have dining included for your students during your stay or to be able to purchase the Disney Dining Plan for your family outside of the Youth Group Program.

Your first option would be to only purchase the ticket package with your school group and then make your separate Magic Your Way Vacation Package reservation directly through Walt Disney World. You can purchase the total number of nights accommodation required for your stay and then simply choose a One Day Base Ticket in order to be able to purchase the Disney Dining Plan with your vacation package. This One Day Ticket can be used as an additional 'bonus' day in the parks for your family once your school's plans have come to a close!

Alternatively, your school group may opt to purchase pre-paid dining options through Disney Youth Groups. They have two options available. You may purchase Student Meal Vouchers for Quick Service meals at over 40 dining locations in the parks and resort hotels, or you can purchase Dining Cards. Dining Cards work similarly to Disney Gift Cards in that they are pre-loaded with a set amount of money that you choose, however these special cards are only redeemable at dining locations.

Wishing you a Magical time as you begin planning for your family's time at Walt Disney World next summer Amy!
