How many children can I (one adult) take on the Silly Symphony Swings and Jumpin’ Jellyfish at California Adventures, and on Buzz Lightyear Blasters at Disneyland? I have 3 children - aged 5 (46” tall), 3 (40”), and 18 months (32”). Thank you!

    Hiya, Chelsea!

As a mom of three Mouseketeers, I’m happy to answer your question and offer some tips. A good place to check height requirements is the Attractions page, which can be filtered by height. Let’s start with Silly Symphony Swings and Jumpin’ Jellyfish – for both of these attractions, riders must be 40” or taller, and children under 7 must be accompanied by a person age 14 years or older. So, unless you have another Guest with you age 14 or older, these attractions won’t be an option at this time. As for Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, all ages and heights are allowed, so you should be able to ride with all three of your children, as long as your baby sits on your lap.

Some of my family’s favorite attractions to ride together include “It’s a small world”, Jungle Cruise, Casey Jr. Circus Train, Disneyland Railroad, Disneyland Monorail, Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters, and The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure. Another option is to check out as many shows, parades and play spaces as you can – my children love Mickey’s Soundsational Parade, Storytelling at Royal Theatre, Mickey and the Magical Map, and Mickey's Toontown.

Be sure to take advantage of the Baby Care Centers, available at both parks. They offer a great spot to nurse, feed, change, and simply take a break. Here's a helpful guide to planning a visit with preschoolers, too.

Have fun making magical memories with your little ones this weekend!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for about 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 7, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
