Do the children also get a key to the world card? i read that each adult gets their own but was unsure of the children receiving one. Do you have to carry your id with you as well to ensure you are the correct person? How does all of that work?

If you are purchasing a vacation package to include your park tickets, both the children and adults in your party will receive a key to the world card.  The card, which functions as a room key and is encoded with your ticketing information, will be used at the park gates to gain entry.  If you so desire, at check-in you can also request that charging privileges be authorized on your cards.  That option will allow you to charge purchases you make throughout the resort to be charged to your room during your stay.  You'll need to give a credit card at check-in if you're interested.

It is a good idea to keep your ID with you during your stay.  To gain entry to the park you will be required to insert your key to the world card into the reader at the gates.  You will also place your finger on a nifty little gadget which will scan your fingerprint so as to ensure you are who you say you are.  Should that nifty little gadget malfunction, the Cast Member may ask you to show ID before you are permitted to enter the park.  You may also need to show ID in order to charge any purchases.  If you are looking for a convenient way to keep your key to the world card and ID close at hand, a quick search for "lanyard ticket holder" on e-bay will likely yield plenty of options.

    Hope that helps!
