Our children are ages 12, 12, and 5. I see that the minimum age for horseback riding is 9. Could our 5 year old ride with an adult? Thanks and keep up the great work!

Unfortunately not. The minimum age to participate in the horseback riding experience at Fort Wilderness really is nine. Perhaps one parent could do something extra fun in one of the theme parks or resorts (bike ride, Sea Raycer boats, ice cream sundaes) with your youngest while the other takes the older kids on the horses.

Good luck and have a great trip!
