Do children ages 3-9 still get an appetizer at a sit down restaurant on the Disney Dining Plan?

    Hey, Deborah!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Disney Dining Plans are the best way to manage your food budget by prepaying for all your meals at Walt Disney World Resort. Mickey and the gang think of everything. Please note that all Disney Dining Plans are not the same.

Currently, the 2016 Deluxe, Premium and Platinum Dining Plans as well as the 2017 Deluxe Dining Plan allow all Guests ages 3 and over using Dining Plan entitlements to enjoy these meal features at each Table Service restaurant during lunch and dinner:

    "• One (1) Appetizer
    • One (1) EntreĢe
    • One (1) Dessert
    • One (1) Nonalcoholic Beverage
    -or-
    • One (1) Full Buffet or Family-Style Meal"

The only requirement for Guests ages 3-9 years old is they should order from the children's menu for all parts of the meal. If there are not an apparent child appetizer options, please ask your server.

Disney Dad Tip: At some Quick-Service restaurants you may substitute your Non-alcoholic beverage for a snack. Check the guidelines in this 2017 Deluxe Dining Plan Guide. You may want to get a piece of fruit or chips to save for later as a snack and order a free cup of water as your beverage.

Deborah, enjoy making many delicious and Magical Memories at Walt Disney World Resort!
