Child Swap: We are a party of 5 adults and 3 children, one of which will be too small for some of the rides. Can 2 adults wait with the smaller child while the rest of our party rides and then swap?

    Hi Andrea,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question. As Mama to a 3 1/2 year old who doesn’t love “big boy” rides, I’ve used Rider Switch during all of my family’s visits to Walt Disney World Resort, especially when we’ve visited with friends or other families.

Although the policies regarding Rider Switch can change from attraction to attraction, you’ll be pleased to know that, usually, up to 3 Guests can experience an attraction using a Rider Switch pass. You’ll be pleased to know that the two adults who waited with the smaller child should be able to ride together once the rest of your party comes back to join you.

For more information about how Rider Switch works for a particular attraction, please speak to the Cast Member at the attraction’s entrance.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
