I have a child too short to ride avatar flight of passage. Can we all walk through together so we can all see the pre-ride things in line then at the end of the line take turns riding/staying with younger child?

Hello Amanda!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Having been turned away from Soarin' at Epcot because my son was a half inch too short, I can empathize with your scenario.

The Rider Switch Service at Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks allows Guests to experience an attraction even when a member(or members) cannot. There are some instances when a Cast Member allows Guests to wait in the queue with the first party, then bypass the attraction to wait with a Guest unable or unwilling to ride, but I believe that in instances where a Guest does not meet height requirements, they cannot allow the Guest to line up.

The only way to be sure is to speak with the Cast Member at the entrance of the attraction and inquire about using the Rider Switch Service. At the same time, inquire whether the "waiting" can be done in line with the rest of the party.

If not, do some research, obtain a Rider Switch Pass and find an equally fun activity that those waiting for parties on the attraction can experience.  For Pandora - The World of Avatar, simply walking through the Valley of Mo'ara, browsing through the Windtraders shop or the interactive "Connect to Protect" activity would keep me entertained for others to ride several Banshees.

    Enjoy your Stay on Pandora!
