    Clarence from MD Asked

Is the child safety seat (car seat etc.) required for the Magical Express from the airport and to the theme parks?

    Hi, Clarence!

    Disney's Magical Express
is a motor coach that can transport up to 55 guests at a time. There are no seat belts to secure the car seat, causing them to not be permitted. They can be stored underneath the motor coach in the storage compartment if you need during your stay.

When our family, which includes 2 toddlers who are still in car seats, travel by Disney's Magical Express, we feel safe having them sit in our laps. We also choose not to sit in the very front row of the motor coach, but instead behind other seats which provides extra security while riding.

When traveling to the theme parks from your resort hotel, on Disney complimentary resort transportation, car seats are not allowed as well. These buses do not have seat belts either and they also do not have storage underneath the bus. Once we arrive to our resort hotel, we leave the car seat in our hotel room.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Happy planning!
