My child has almost 3 years old and also has autism. i was wondering what kind of attractions and which parks would be better for him to visit (regarding wait times, kid friendly attractions, etc.) thanks !

    Hello Pamela!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are having a magical week! My youngest is autistic as well and we’ve been able to create some unforgettable moments at Walt Disney World!

When you first arrive at any of the parks I would go to Guest Relations. Talk to a Cast Member about the Disability Access Service. This has helped my son tremendously. A Cast Member will ask you a few questions and ask you to describe what your child has issues with. They may be able to help with a variety of issues. My son can’t wait in a traditional queue so we get a return time for an attraction, similar to the Fastpass+, and he can cope much better with the waiting in a quieter queue.

There are so many attractions geared to young children you can choose just about anything and have a blast! I hope this helps and please let me know if you need anything else as you plan your visit.

    See you real soon!
