We will be at Chef Mickey's & Magic Kingdom the day our grandson turns 2. We wanted to experience the stick ponies & milkshakes at Whispering Canyon later in the week after our dinner meal at another location . Do we have to have reservations t

Wow! Your grandson is going to have such an awesome second birthday! Any age child or grownup would love to have a birthday celebration at the Magic Kingdom and Chef Mickey's. Anyone is welcome to enjoy the pony races at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. The staff tries to have them on the hour. To enjoy a bottomless milkshake you need to be seated so reservations are very highly recommended. This is a fun rambunctious restaurant in a beautiful resort. Coming to enjoy the pony express and have some dessert there is a great idea. Estimate what time you could arrive after your dinner and make reservations for that time. My family has used reservations to secure a table just to eat dessert at several restaurants in Walt Disney World. Wishing you a magical vacation and your grandson a happy birthday.
