we will be going to chef mickey's when we go to DW soon. I've heard that the monorail does not let you off at the restaurant. what is the best way to get there? thanks!

    Hi Kim,

You may have misunderstood some information. While the monorail system does not actually let you off at Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary. The monorail does stop VERY close to the restaurant - just one flight up from the restaurant check-in podium. There is easy access to the restaurant via escalator or elevator and there are good signs at the Contemporary. But all you really need to do is follow your ears and nose -- the sound of happy guests and the smell of good food will point you in the right direction.

While you're eating your meal at Chef Mickey's you can actually watch the monorail load/unload just above you. It's that close.

Have a great meal and be sure to give Mickey a hug from me.
