We will be checking in to our WDW Resort on Nov. 17, and checking out Nov. 21. I have seen info about Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party taking place on Nov. 17; do we have to purchase those special tickets to watch the parade and all?

    Hello Gabrielle!
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of my favorite Holiday things to do in Walt Disney World (I have attended over 8 times so far since 2009). Yes, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is being held on November 17th, 2017. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party requires a separate ticket to attended (not the normal park ticket that you would use to enter the Magic Kingdom Park). If you do not have a ticket for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you will not be permitted to ride any of the rides or attractions after 7:00 pm or see the Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and the Holiday Wishes Fireworks Show which both occur during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  If you want you can watch the Holiday Wishes Fireworks Show from outside the Magic Kingdom Park in places such as the Polynesian Village Resort Beach, the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or at the Ferry Dock of the Ticket and Transportation Center (you can see most of the Holiday Wishes from these locations). I hope that your next vacation in Walt Disney World is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
