Hi Janice,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so glad that you brought this question to us. You will enjoy Disney's Port Orleans resort! It is beautiful! When we first started using the
Disney Dining Plans, it took us a few tries to understand all of the details! The dining plan meal credits correspond to nights of your stay. If you have the Disney Dining Plan that offers one Table-Service and one Quick-Service meal per night and you are staying for three nights, each guest in your party 3-years old and over will receive two meals per night of stay. You will also receive two snacks per night and one resort refillable mug. You do not necessarily have to use two meals per day. You can use as many meals as you want until they are gone.
When using the Disney Dining Plan, my family typically uses one meal credit for dinner on the day we check-in at the resort. Then we use two credits per day on the days in between and one meal credit on the day we checkout of the resort.
I hope you have already made your
Advanced Dining Reservations! Restaurants fill quickly. Also don't forget that
Boatwright's Dining Hall is located at Port Orleans Riverside and they accept advance dining reservations. Also remember to use the
My Disney Experience tool to track your dining and
Fast Pass+ reservations.
I hope this helps!
Have a magical stay.
