I am checking into our Disney resort on a Saturday and going to MK on Sunday. I would like for my 2.5 year old to see the fireworks on Saturday night, but It is late for him to go into the park. Is there a place we watch watch from outside the park?

Hey there, Carlye!  There are only a few short weeks left until you arrive at the happiest place on earth. I’m getting excited for you as I type that! Have you started packing? Make sure you pack tons of smiles and laughter because you’ll be needing tons of those for your magical vacation!

Here's a list of my favorite spots to enjoy Wishes nighttime spectacular outside of Magic Kingdom:

-Disney’s Polynesian Resort: At this stunning resort, you have a few options for watching Wishes. The most popular spot is right on the beach. You’ll have a front and center view of the amazing firework show! I also love the patio area right outside Capt. Cook's. My family and I usually grab some delicious Dole Whip at the Pineapple Lanai right around the corner, grab a chair, sit back and enjoy the show! They even pipe in the music!
-Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa- Right off the monorail you will arrive at this luxurious hotel that will take your breath away. Find your way to Gasparilla Island Grill where you can grab some dinner and catch watch the fireworks right outside the restaurant.
You can also view the show from the Ticket and Transportation Center in the area where the Ferryboat to Magic Kingdom loads. According to the website, Wishes is set to begin at 8pm that evening so make sure you plan enough time to arrive and find a good spot to watch!

Have a great time and enjoy my favorite Firework spectacular: Wishes!
